San Diego Bay Public Docks

18.5 square miles of natural harbor with a dozen of varying and spread out public docks to land your dinghy.

If your dinghy is unregistered, does not have navigational lights (at night) or if traveling across the bay / long distances, there is a chance of being stopped by harbor patrol.

Ordered North (starting at the mouth of the harbor) to South.

Shelter Island – America’s Cup Harbor

Plenty of dock accessibility in a setting of scattered Marine Stores, Restaurants and Shopping Areas within short walking distance.

Downtown (Laurel Street)

Heavily trafficked, multiple docks leading into the big city with multiple amenities.

Coronado & Glorietta Bay

A quaint and picturesque bay with a public dock and beach landing.

South Bay

Flat and shallow waters with few docks offering an escape out of the more congested northern waters.
